Assembly:
1. Assemble the three frame parts (parts a, b, c). upside
down so that the large holes on the bottom of the
pieces face up.
2. Screw the 4 bolts (part 1117) into parts c and b until
finger tight. The hole in the bolt must face upwards, if
it does not face upwards, unscrew the bolt slightly
until it faces upwards. (The bolts may be a little loose)
3. Insert the 4 housings (part 1116) into parts c and b as
shown.
4. Put the frame parts a, b, c together so that there is no
gap between them. If the bolts (part 1117) do not fit
easily into the corresponding holes, make sure the
housings have not rotated in the holes.
5. Insert the 4 grub screws (part 1122) into the housings
that are already in parts a and c. Use a Phillips
screwdriver to tighten the grub screws clockwise (min.
1.5 Nm max. 2.5 Nm ).
6. Place the lying surface (part d) so that the large holes
all around point upwards. Press the 4 fastening jaws
(part y) into the lying surface with the wooden dowels
as shown in the picture.
7. Secure each of the 4 mounting jaws (part y) with a
screw M6x40mm (part 1211) and the included Allen
key (part 1200) in a clockwise direction as shown. The
screws must be tightened hand-tight (min. 1.5 Nm -
max. 2.5 Nm ). Do not overtighten the screws.
8. Lay frame parts a, b and c flat on the floor as shown.
Position the lying surface (part d) so that the 4
fastening jaws (part y) point towards the underside of
the babybay.
9. Attach 2 of the counterparts (part z) with one
M6x40mm screw (part 1211) each to the fastening
jaws (part y) on the lying surface (part d) with the
Allen key (part 1200) as shown (min. 1.5 Nm -
max.2.5Nm). Then place the babybay on the lower
side of the frame and attach the 2 other counterparts
(part z) to the back using the same method. The
screws must be tightened hand-tight (min. 1.5Nm -
max. 2.5Nm). Do not overtighten. (The height of the
lying surface must be adjusted later).
10. The minimum measurement between the top of
the lying surface and the bottom edge of the frame
(as shown) is 27.5 cm.
11. Insert the bars from the upper part of the locking grille
(part k) into the base plate as shown and hook them
into the milling in the side parts a and c. Press the
bottom bar of the locking grille onto the bars from left
to right. Attach the bar as shown using four M6x40mm
screws (part 1211) and the Allen key (part 1200).
The screws must be tightened hand-tight (min.1.5Nm
- max.2.5Nm).
12. Adjust the height of the babybay's lying surface so
that the babybay mattress is at the same height as the
parents' bed mattress.
13. Remove the top parent bed mattress. Place the
straps from the mounting plate across the parents'
bed. The mounting plate must be on the opposite side
of the babybay as shown. The straps must not be
twisted. Attach the straps to the two front bars of the
babybay using the plastic clips.
14. Place the upper parent bed mattress back on the base
frame. Pull the belt loops as shown with at least 300
Nm so that the babybay pulls itself firmly against the
parents' bed. Check whether the babybay is securely
attached to the parents' bed by pulling it firmly
backwards. There should be no gap between the two
beds.
