APPLICATION
The DT 770 PRO X Limited Edition is a closed studio

headphone suitable for professional recording and
monitoring in the studio as well as on the move .
� Due to the low-impedance STELLAR .45 driver, the
DT 770 PRO X Limited Edition delivers studio reference
sound on a wide range of end devices .
The detachable, single-sided mini XLR cable makes

it easier to handle the DT 770 PRO X Limited Edition
when it has to be used frequently .
The rugged headband made of spring steel gives

the DT 770 PRO X Limited Edition a secure fit and the
mechanical reliability needed for daily use .
Soft ear and headband pads contribute to a high

long-term comfort when wearing . If necessary,
headband and ear pads can be replaced .
The connection cable is provided with a gold-plated

mini stereo jack plug (3 .5 mm) with a 1/4" adapter
(6 .35 mm) and can be connected to all common
headphone outputs

MAINTENANCE
As with any equipment which will be used near
�
sensitive areas of the body, it is essential that the
ear pads and headband are kept clean .
Use a soft cloth moistened with water for cleaning .
Make sure that no water drops into the ear cups or
transducers .
If necessary, you can carefully remove the ear pads
�
and headband pad and clean them with mild soapy
water .
Never use any solvent cleaning agents!
Furthermore, the pads must be completely
dry before they are re-attached to the
DT 770 PRO X Limited Edition .
Never use a vaccum cleaner for cleaning
the DT 770 PRO X Limited Edition, as this may
cause irreparable damage .
Should it become necessary to replace the ear pads

or the headband pad, refer to "Replacement parts
and Accessories" . You can easily do this yourself .
� If other components must be replaced, please
contact your local beyerdynamic representative .

HOW TO CONNECT THE CABLE

The lockable cable is fitted with a 3-pin mini XLR
cable connector at the end that connects to the
headphone .
To attach the cable correctly, the small release
button of the cable must face outward .
When connecting the cable, make sure that the
cable connector locks in place under the ear cup
of the DT 770 PRO X Limited Edition .

When you want to change the cable, please press
the small release button, and simultaneously pull
the cable connector from the DT 770 PRO X Limited
Edition .
Connect the stereo jack plug of the cable to
a headphone output only! If you connect the
DT 770 PRO X Limited Edition to any other jack
socket, it could be damaged .
