Claritex Microscope Slides
MAC, MAD, MAE, MAF, MAG, MAH
A glass or plastic microscopy slide intended to be used for
the collection, and preservation and/or transport, of any
type of clinical specimen or smear for analysis and/or other
investigation. This is a single-use device.
Claritex Microscope Slides are recommended for In Vitro
Diagnostic applications, in particular for mounting Formalin
Fixed Paraffin Embedded tissue sections to be used for
diagnosis.
For other applications, please validate before use.
For professional use.
Storage and Handling:
Store in a dry place.

Don't store in direct sunlight.
•
Store the slides in original packaging.
•
Store at room temperature.
•
Avoid large variations in temperature conditions during
•
storage as excessive cooling can lead to condensation
on the slides.
Where large temperature variations may occur during
•
storage, allow slides to acclimatise to room temperature
before use.
Do not use after expiry date.
•
See product label for expiry.
Instructions for Use
NOTE: Hold slides by the edges when handling. Do not
handle slides with bare hands or touch the glass surface.
Beware of sharp edges of glass.

NOTE: Ensure thorough cleaning before
polarisation/fluorescence microscopy.
NOTE: Use minimal amount of mounting medium to bond
coverslips.
Dispose of in accordance with laboratory guidelines.
The slide packaging is designed to provide protection
against environmental factors, however if the product is
stored under conditions other than those specified, then the
product must be validated as suitable for use by the end user
before use.
DO NOT REUSE THIS PRODUCT.
Any serious incident that has occurred in relation to the
device shall be reported to the manufacturer and the
competent authority of the Member State in which the user
and/or the patient is established.
