CAUTION
2. SENSITIVITY CONTROL
The sensitivity control is used to make the lens more responsive to different light levels exeperien-
ced in various welding processes. We recommend a Mid-Range or 30-50% sensitivity setting for
most applications.
It may be necessary to adjust helmet sensitivity to accommodate different lighting conditions or if
lens is flashing On and Off. Adjust helmet sensitvity as follows:
1. Turn sensitivity control to lowest setting.
2. Face the helmet in the direction of use ,exposing it to the surrounding light conditions.
3. Gradually turn sensitivity setting clockwise until the lens darkens ,then turn sensitivity control
counterclockwise until slightly past setting where lens clears . Helmet is ready for use .Slight
readjustment may be necessary for certain applications or if lens is flashing on and off.

SOILED OR PITTED)

4. TROUBLE SHOOTINGTR
1. If the auto-darkening speed and shade state level decrease, the batteries are low. Replace the
batteries.
2. If the viewing window will not lighten or become clear, either power switch is OFF or batteries are
low. Turn on the switch or replace batteries.
3. When the light transmittance of the protective sheet in front of the lens is low, replace with a new
one.
Batteries should be removed when long time off use. Whenever the welding
helmet is off use and/or stored, always keep the helmet with filter
sensors downward. Otherwise may cause batteries used up earlier
