permitted to operate, service and maintain the products. This personnel must be specifically informed about
the possible hazards. The product and its ancillary equipment can present hazards if used incorrectly by
untrained personnel or if used not in accordance with the intended use.
The type designation and serial number are printed on the rating plate.

2.1
General safety instructions
Read all safety instructions and other instructions.
▶ Keep fingers away from the front and rear fan covers.
▶ This product can be used by children 8 years of age or older and by persons with physical, sensory
or mental disabilities or little relevant experience or know-how if they are supervised or have received
instruction on the safe use of the product and the resulting hazards.
▶ Do not use a product that is damaged, bent or cracked.
▶ Do not switch on the product unless both the front and the rear fan covers are installed.
▶ Do not disassemble the product yourself, even when performing maintenance.
▶ Remove the battery pack before carrying out maintenance tasks or storing the product.
▶ Risk of trapping hand when adjusting the fan angle; gently push or pull the carrying handle.
▶ Keep your hair, clothing and jewelery away from openings and moving parts.
▶ Do not insert objects into openings.
▶ Risk of injury by moving parts. Do not touch the fan rotor while it is in motion. Make sure that the product
is switched off and wait until the fan rotor stops before picking up or carrying the product.
▶ Switch the product off before removing the battery.
▶ Risk of injury by falling products. Before starting work, check that the battery is secure.
