Operating instructions
1. Specified Use
Chargers are only suitable for charging
starmix and CAS (Cordless Alliance System)
battery packs.
This tool is not designed for use by persons
with physical, sensory or mental disabilities,
or with insufficient experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are supervised by a
person responsible for their safety, or have
received instructions on how to use the tool
by this person.
SC 30 are suitable for charging Li-ion battery
packs (12 V - 18 V, 2.0 Ah - 10.0 Ah,
3 - 10 cells).
ASC 55 are suitable for charging Li-ion
battery packs (12 V - 36 V, 2.0 Ah - 10.0 Ah,
3 - 10 cells).
ASC 145 are suitable for charging Li-ion
battery packs (corresponding to the print on
the tool, 12 V - 36 V, 2.0 Ah - 10.0 Ah,
3 - 10 cells).
Never attempt to charge batteries that
are not rechargeable. Danger of explo-
sion!
The user bears sole responsibility for
damage caused by improper use.
Generally accepted accident-prevention
regulations and accompanying safety
instructions should be observed.
2. General Safety Instructions
WARNING – Reading the oper-
ating instructions will reduce
the risk of injury.
WARNING Read all safety warn-
ings and instructions. Failure to
follow all safety
warnings and instructions may result
in electric shock, fire and/or serious
injury.
Keep all safety instructions and
information for future reference.
Before using the charger,
carefully read through and
familiarise yourself with all
the enclosed safety information and
the Operating Instructions. Keep all
enclosed documentation for future
reference, and pass on your charger
only together with this documenta-
tion.
3. Special Safety Instructions
For your own protection and
for the protection of your
power tool pay attention to
all parts of the text that are marked
with this symbol!
Danger - electrical voltage!
Slightly acidic, flammable
fluid may leak from defective
Li-ion battery packs!
If battery fluid leaks out and comes
into contact with your skin, rinse
immediately with plenty of water. If
battery fluid leaks out and comes
into contact with your eyes, wash
them with clean water and seek
medical treatment immediately.
Do not recharge a fully charged
battery pack!
Only use the charger indoors.
Protect the charger from
moisture.
Never allow children to use the
machine.
