Press the latch A and pull out the
battery compartment B.
Remove the flat battery.
Put a new battery in the battery
compartment with the positive pole
facing upwards. Ensure that the po-
larity (+/-) is correct when inserting
the battery.
Slide the battery compartment in
until it clicks into place.
. Operation
Place the appliance on a level surface.
Plug the mains plug into a suitable socket.
Two acoustic signals will sound. The display shows .
You can operate the appliance by using the operating buttons on the
appliance or by using the remote control provided. The operating but-
tons on the remote control are identical to the operating buttons on the
appliance. They each perform the same functions as described in the ta-
ble "Tower fan/remote operating buttons" on page 127.
.. Switching on the appliance
Press the
button to switch on the fan.
.. Setting the speed
Press the
button or the +/ buttons on the remote control to switch be-
tween the speeds.
There are 5 speed levels available. The set speed level is shown in the digital dis-
play (9).
