Wok Cooking
We recommend
that you use only a
flat-bottomed
wok. They are available
at your local retai! store.
Do not use woks that have support
rings. Use of these types of woks,
with or without the ring in place,
can be dangerous.
Placing the ring over the burner
wi!t cause a buildup of heat that will
damage the porcelain
cooktop.
Do
not try to use such woks without the
ring. You could be seriously
burned
if the wok is tipped over.
Use only flat.bottomed
woks.
If you are simmering
on one burner
and turn on the others, watch the
simmer setting. Because of the
increased
gas flow to the other
burners, the flame size of the burner
used for simmering
may need to be
increased.
Use pans and woks that are the
same size as the burner used when
cooking.
Use flat-bottom
woks.
