9. DISPOSAL
9.1 Disposing of the cordless shears
(in accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU/
S.I. 2013 No. 3113):
The product must not be disposed of
together with normal household waste. It
must be disposed of in line with local envi-
ronmental regulations.
IMPORTANT!
Æ Dispose of the product through or via your local
recycling collection centre.
9.2 Disposing of the battery
The battery contains lithium-ion cells that
must be disposed of separately from nor-
mal household waste at the end of their
Li-ion
life span.
IMPORTANT!
1. Discharge the lithium-ion cells fully
(contact GARDENA Service about this).
2. Ensure that the lithium-ion cell contacts do not
short-circuit by placing tape over them.
3. Dispose of the lithium-ion cells properly at or
through your local recycling collection point.
