Keep the appliance away from heat sources such as

radiators, heaters, ovens and other heat-producing

The accumulation of dust in the ventilation grilles

is the most frequent cause of overheating. Clean it
regularly (see "cleaning and maintenance" section).
To avoid any risk of burns, never touch hot surfaces

on the appliance.
To move the appliance, select position 0 by turning
•
the power selector knob and use the carrying
handle.
Never unplug the appliance before turning it off.

Always unplug the appliance when not in use and
•
wait until it has cooled down completely before
storing it.
The power cord must not come into contact with

the hot surfaces of the appliance.
This appliance is not designed to be controlled by
•
an external timer or discrete remote control system.
If you detect smoke, a strange odour or sound,

disconnect the power cable immediately.
Never place the appliance immediately below a

power socket.
WARNING: Place the appliance on a flat, clean and

dry surface. Do not place the appliance on a carpet
or rug.
WARNING: Never use the appliance in a humid

environment such as a bathroom, or near a bathtub,

Thermal safety: In the event of overheating, a safety

device automatically switches off the appliance.
In this case, unplug the appliance from the power
socket and plug it back in once it has cooled down.
If your appliance still does not work, take it to
your retailer's customer service department to be
inspected. The user may not perform any repairs.
Anti-tilt safety device: The appliance is equipped
•
with a safety cut-out system, which automatically
switches off the appliance if it is tilted.
WARNING: This heater is not equipped with a room
•
temperature control device.
Do not use this heater in small rooms, when they
•
are occupied by persons unable to leave the room
alone, unless constant supervision is provided.
