I. Power
Tellimero contains a chargeable lithium-ion battery. Please only use the
included USB cable to charge the Tellimero pen. During charging, a light is
illuminated. As soon as the battery is completely charged, the light will go out.
Be careful with an empty battery:
As soon as the battery level is low, the device plays back an acoustic
signal and then switches off automatically.
II. The buttons of Tellimero:
1) Power button:
To switch on the device, you have to press the power button. An indicator
light is switched on and after about 2 seconds, the speakers play back a
signal. The reading pen will now change into normal mode and is now
able to read books in a normal form.
During reading process, music can be switched on by pressing the button
shortly.
2) Volume button:
The small button has to be pressed once at the beginning to change the volu-
me. The volume is then either raised or reduced by pressing the button further.
In each case the volume is changed by one level. All in all, you can

choose between 8 adjustable volume levels. As soon
as you have reached the maximum volume level, a
warning tone resounds. By pressing the button eight
times again, the minimum volume level is reached.
Standard setting is at medium level.
3) Record button:
This button has to be pressed for voice recording. A
signal is automatically played back and the recording
starts. After recording is completed, the Record
button has to be pressed longer once again and a
signal tone will be played back. Using the device, you
can record up to 5 minutes.
In case your recording is longer than that time, the
device will automatically stop recording. Pressing the
Record button shortly, saves the recording. The next
recording is started by pressing the Record button for
a longer period.
All in all, up to 4 hours of recordings can be stored.
