Propercareof your washercanextend its life. Theoutside
of the machinecan be cleanedwith warmwaterand a mild,
nonabrasive householddetergent.
Immediately wipeoff anyspillswith a soft, dampcloth.
IMPORTANT: Donot usemethylated spirits,solvents,or
similarproducts.
Neverusesteel woolor abrasivecleansers; t hey can damage
thesurface.
Care and Cleaning
of the Interior
Usea towel or soft cloth to wipearoundthe washerdoor
opening,door seal, anddoor glass.Theseareasshouldbe
kept cleanto ensurea watertightseal. Be sureto wipeunder
the insiderubbersealto remove any moistureor soil.
Alwaysremoveitemsfrom the washeras soon
asthe cycle is completed.Leavingdampitemsin the washer
cancausewrinkling,color transfer, a nd odor.
Runthe TUB CLEAN cycleregularlyto removedetergent
buildupand otherresidue.
Thiswasherhasa specialcycle,TUB CLEAN, t o remove
insidebuildupof detergentresiduewhichcan occur in the
washtub or drumand leadto mildewor mustysmell.
Readthese instructions c arefully before beginning the
TUB CLEANcycle.

Openthe door and removeanyclothingin the wash
drum.

Add liquidchlorinebleachor tub cleaner.
Somepowderor tablettub cleaners which are
manufactured for this purposecan be used.
(NOTE : Do notadd anylaundrydetergent o r fabric
softenerto the drawerwhenusingTUBCLEAN.)
- if using liquid chlorine bleach
Add liquid chlorinebleachto the bleachcompartment
of the drawer.
(NOTE : Do notexceedthe maximum fill line and do
not pour undilutedliquid bleachdirectlyinto the wash
drum.)
- if using powdercleaner
Remove the liquiddetergentcup and add powder
cleanerto the mainwashcompartment o f the drawer.
- If using tablet cleaner
Add tablet cleanerto the washdrumdirectly.
(NOTE : Do notadd tablet cleanerto the drawer.)
Closethe drawerand washerdoor.
SelectTUB CLEAN and pressSTART.
NOTE: It is recommended that TUB CLEAN shouldbe
repeatedmonthly.
If mildewor mustysmellalreadyexists,runTUB CLEAN for 3
consecutive weeks.
AfterTUB CLEAN is completeor whenthe washeris not used,
leavethe washerdoor openfor betterventilationand drying
insideof thewasher.
