The general purpose vacuum cleaner (model 600148556) has been tested in accordance with EN
60312-1: 2017 and meets the essential requirements of the regulation (EU) 666/2013 relating to
vacuum cleaners.

4. BEFORE FIRST USE

Unpack the appliance.
2.
Immediately after unpacking, check for any damage sustained during shipping. If your
delivery is damaged or incomplete, please contact our after-sales service.
5. USE
When using your appliance for the first time, it may emit a slight odour. This is normal. Therefore,
provide sufficient ventilation. This odour is only temporary and will quickly disappear.
Illustrations from 1 to 15:
1.
Connect the suction tubes. Each end has a different diameter. Connect the suction hoses to
the vacuum nozzle. Connect the suction hoses to the handle.
2.
Insert the end of the hose into the suction port at the top of the hoover. Listen for a click,
indicating that the end of the hose is connected.
3.
Pull on the power cable until it reaches the desired length. Insert the plug into a mains
socket.
4.
Switch on: press the on/off switch.
5.
Vacuum by moving back and forth with the suction nozzle.
6.
You can adjust the suction power thanks to the sliding tab on the handle.
7.
Switch off: press the on/off switch.
8.
Disconnect the plug. Press the button to wind the power cable.
9.
Smooth floors: push the button on the suction nozzle downwards.
10.
Carpet: push the button on the suction nozzle upwards.
11.
During breaks or storage, you can hang the suction nozzle on the back of the vacuum
cleaner.
12.
You can clean joints and cushions using the additional nozzles supplied.
13.
To remove the suction hose, turn the end of the hose anti-clockwise and pull it out.
14.
Open the cover by pressing lightly on the upper handle. To remove the bag, pull it upwards
to release it from the attachment. Install a new bag by sliding it up onto the attachment. The
arrow on the bag should point down.
15.
Warning! To prevent operation without a bag, the lid cannot be closed without inserting a
bag. Never try to close the lid by force.
