Recline positions adjustments
The car seat has five recline positions. In the rear facing position only the most
reclined position can be used. For forward facing position, all five positions can
be used. Except for the most upright position, there is a risk that other positions
may not fit in all approved vehicles. Pull the recline lever at the same time and
incline seat to intend position (fig.10).
The seat rotation function
Pull the rotation button at the same time to rotate seat to the intended direction
(fig.14,15). Once the seat rotates to the intended direction, the rotation button
will bounce back and make a click sound. The ensure that the seat is properly
locked into position try to rotate the seat without pushing the rotation button
(fig.16).
Isofix installation
If your vehicle is not equipped with the isofix insert guides as standard, clip the
two insert guides which are included with the car seat. On both sides of the car
seat press the isofix button and pull out the isofix connectors in the longest
position (fig.18,19). Slide the two isofix connectors firmly into the insert guides
until the isofix connectors engage with a clicking noise on both sides. The isofix
indicator must turn green on both sides (fig.20,21). Push the child car seat
towards the backrest applying firm, even pressure on both sides. Shake the
child car seat to make sure it is safely attached and re-check the green safety
indicator to make sure that both are completely green (fig.22).
Isofix removal
Push the child seat towards the backrest applying firm, even pressure (fig23). At
the same time press the isofix button and pull back the isofix connectors. (fig.24)
Top tether adjustment
Take the top tether and if required, lengthen the belt by pressing the top tether
brake button to release the strap, pulling to adjust as necessary. (fig25) Attach
the top tether hook to the top tether anchorage point which is recommended in
the owner's manual of your car (fig.26;27). Look for this symbol in your vehicle.
To tension the top tether, remove any slack by pulling on the free end of strap
until it is suitably
tightened. The top tether will be properly tightened when the tension indicator
turns completely green. (fig.28) Pressing the top tether quick release button to
release top tether when rotating forward facing installation to lateral. (fig.29)
CAUTION! Make sure the top tether quick release locked again after
rotating back to forward facing.
