9. MANTENIANCE
The products in the MOPEDIA by Moretti range are carefully checked and CE-marked when they
are placed on the market.
Only original spare parts and accessories may be used for repairs.
• It is extremely important that the device is checked the first time it is used.
• Rinse the product well after each use with water and dry with a clean cloth.
• Store away from moisture or sources of light and heat.
• Make sure not to leave any residues of skin and hair care products (shampoo, balsam) on the product.
10. CLEANING AND DISINFECTION
10.1 Cleaning
• To clean the headrest, use only mild soap and water and dry with a clean cloth.
• Do not use abrasive or sharp objects or products to clean the various components.
• Do not dry near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
WARNING!
Do not use abrasive substances, acids, alcohol, chlorine-based detergents,
disinfectants and acetone, oxides, organic solvents or alkaline detergents, as these
may damage the plastic.
The manufacturer shall not be liable for damage caused by the use of materials that
may deteriorate the surface of the product or by corrosive chemicals used during
cleaning.
10.2 Disinfection
If necessary, disinfect the product using a mild disinfectant detergent or using a commercial,
chlorine-free disinfectant.
WARNING!
Sanitising products are corrosive. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin. In case of
accidental contact, wash the affected area with plenty of warm water and consult a
doctor immediately.
11. CONDITION OF DISPOSAL
When disposing of the device, never use normal solid urban waste disposal systems. It is
recommended that the device be disposed of through the municipal recycling centres for the
planned recycling of the materials used.
