handle.
Water will not shut off
completely.
The water temperature is not as
hot as when first installed.
Possible Cause
The retainer nut has come loose.
The O-ring on the cartridge is
dirty or damaged.
The rubber valve seat is dirty or
broken.
Seasonal adjustments may be
necessary as ground water
temperatures vary.

Tighten the retainer nut.
Clean or replace the O-ring.
Remove the handle and cartridge to
check the rubber valve seat.
Clean or replace it.
Reset the temperature limit stop.
