Instructions
Chassis Ground Column
Wire the grounding terminal to an earth-
grounding object to prevent power spikes.
VLAN Mode
The Switch features port isolation, also referred to as
"Private VLAN". It isolates all ports from each other and only allows access
to the uplink port. This is useful, for example, if a private VLAN is a hotel
where each room or apartment has a network port for Internet access.
All ports can all access the Internet, but they cannot access each other.

Placement
Prior to use, it is recommended that the switch be placed/positioned:
• on a level surface that can support the weight of the switch
• with a minimum of 25 mm (approx.
1") of clearance on the top and
sides for adequate ventilation
• away from sources of electrical
noise: radios, transmitters, broadband amplifiers, etc.
• where it cannot be affected by excessive moisture
All ports can communicate with each other
Disable flow control, all ports can communicate with each other
Ports 1 to 8 are isolated from each other but
can communicate with ports 9 and 10
