Pulling bearings off shaft and separating bearing housings
Unpacking
When unpacking, make sure that the product is intact and
undamaged.
After unpacking unit, inspect carefully for any
damage that may have occurred during transit. Check for
loose, missing, or damaged parts. Shipping damage claim
must be filed with carrier.

General Safety Information
Inspect the contents before every use; do not use if
parts are missing, loose or damaged. Always pay
close attention to what you are doing when using this
tool set. Only use the tool for it's intended use. Do
not assemble the tool when tired or taking medication
which would cause drowsiness.
Improper assembly can create hazards to users. To
avoid personal injury, always wear ANS and OSHA
approved safety goggles during assembly. Before
using the tool, keep assembly area clean, well lit, and
keep bystanders out of area during assembly.
To help avoid personal injury or
equipment damages, assemble this tool set
according to these instructions.

Assembly
SEPARATING BEARING HOUSINGS
a.
Select the proper size bearing separator jaw for
the bearing size being separated.

Loosen the separator jaw nuts enough to allow
the jaws to hold between each bearing.
c.
Use a wrench (not included in the tool set) to
tighten the nuts on the side until the jaws are
tightly secured in between the bearing housings.
d.
Select a pair of proper size extension screws and
assemble into the jaws.
e.
The extension screws allow the user to grip them
and add stability while tightening nuts.
f.
Continue tightening the nuts until the bearing
housings are separated.
g.
When the bearing housings are separated,
remove the bearing separator jaw.
NOTE: Do not over tighten the nuts because it may
damage the bearings.
PULLING THE BEARINGS OFF THE SHAFT
a.
Select the proper size bearing separator jaw for
the bearing size being removed from the shaft.
b.
Loosen the separator jaw nuts enough to allow
the jaws to hold between each bearing.
c.
Use a wrench (not included in the tool set) to
tighten the nuts on the side until the jaws are
tightly secured in between the bearing housings.
