The power socket must be easy to reach so the plug can be removed quickly in case of emergency.
Make sure that the cable is correctly positioned, that it is not touching hot elements or sharp edges, is
not wound around the appliance, is not twisted up on itself or in the way to prevent the utensil from
being pulled over.
Ensure that the accessories are fitted correctly to the appliance before operating it.
Never use this appliance to mix boiling liquids.
Do not operate the appliance when it is empty.
Never touch any moving parts.
The appliance comes into direct contact with food, in particular the container, the blades and the cover.
It is therefore necessary to clean it thoroughly: refer to "CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE".
In the case of a breakdown or fault, switch off the appliance and have it checked by a professionally
qualified technician; repairs made by unqualified persons can be dangerous and render void the
warranty.
Do not use the appliance with a timer or a programmer or with a system that can switch on the
appliance automatically, to avoid risk of fire, since a fire risk exists if the heater is covered or
positioned incorrectly.
Because of a long using the blades wear and tear, so that in the time their replacement will be necessary
(new blades means a new appliance).
OPERATION
Warning: always remove the plug from the outlet before any assembly operation, reassembling and
cleaning.
When using for the first time, wash the whisks, cover, blade and capacitor before use and dry them
carefully before use. Do not wash them in a dishwasher. (Note: the blades are sharp; do not submerge the
motor unit in water or other liquids, clean it with instead with a slightly damp cloth.) Before each use,
check that the appliance is in good working order, and that the cable is not damaged: if the power cable is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its technical services department or someone with a
similar qualification in order to prevent any risks.
The appliance must not be left unattended while it is running. In this way, the user can intervene should
incidents occur that will compromise safety: the overflowing of liquids, the appliance becomes unstable,
the blades become jammed by large pieces, etc.
The appliance cannot operate continuously for more than 1 minute. After this time, you must wait for at
least 1 minute before using it again. If you do not do this, the appliance may not work properly again. The
times for preparing various foods are indicated in the following table.

Position the container (7) on the motor body (2) pushing it all the way on, then rotate clockwise until
it locks.

Slide the blades (6) onto the shaft, after having
removed the protective coverings, taking care not
to cut yourself.

Place the food to be chopped in the container.

Place the cover (5) on the container and rotate it
clockwise so that the safety hook (4) slides into
the slot (3) in the motor body.
Ensure that the lock symbol on the container is

in line with the hook on the cover, as shown
alongside.
Attention: the appliance has two safety systems that prevents operation unless the container and
the cover are correctly positioned and locked.
Copies of the I/B. Please reproduce them without any
changes except under special instruction from Bimar
(Italy). The pages must be reproduced and folded in order
to obtain a booklet A5 (+/- 148.5 mm width x 210 mm
height). When folding, make sure you keep the good
numbering when you turn the pages of the I/B. Don't
change the page numbering. Keep the language integrity.
