14. Audio output via the LINE OUT connection
There is a LINE OUT audio output on the back of the appliance. This allows the au-
dio signals from the appliance to be played back using an external playback device
with Line In, such as an amplifier.
Connect the LINE OUT socket to the audio input of an amplifier using the
3.5 mm audio cable.
The volume of the internet radio is retained. Set the volume to 1 to reduce it.
Volume 0 mutes both the audio output via the integrated speakers and the Line
Out output.
The volume can still be adjusted using the remote control or on the appliance.
All connected equipment must comply with the requirements of the
Low Voltage Directive.
15. Bluetooth
You can use Bluetooth to play tracks wirelessly from external devices such as MP3
players or mobile phones with Bluetooth on this appliance.
Press the MODE button. Use (turn NAV/OK on the appliance) to select
the operating mode BLUETOOTH and confirm with OK.
15.1. Connecting Bluetooth devices
Enable the Bluetooth function on your external device and then connect to it.
Refer to the user manual for your appliance for more information. The name of
the audio system is 'MD 89295' .
If you are prompted to enter a password on the external device, enter '0000' as
the password.
The pairing is complete when VERBUNDEN appears on the display. The external
device can be used on the audio system.
16. Using the app as the control
You can control your internet radio with the app on your smartphone.
In addition to the established setting options such as start, stop, repeat or the crea-
tion of favourites lists and station searches, the app makes it possible to individually
customise the sound output.
