a result of which the alarm signal sounds and the red LED blinks. In the display,
the current CO value and a speaker symbol appear.
Note: It is recommended to test the carbon monoxide detector once a month to
ensure that the device is working properly.
8.3 Lock alarm
Heavy vapours or the like can also trigger an alarm. When the alarm signal sounds,
by pressing the "test / hush" button, the device can be muted for approximately
2 minutes. In this period, the green and the red LEDs blink every 10 seconds and
a beep sounds. The detector will not activate any more during these 2 minutes.
If the CO concentration is still in the danger zone after these 2 minutes, then the
alarm sounds again. If the concentration sinks to a safe range, then the device
stops the alarm.
8.4 Unlock alarm
To unlock the alarm again, press the "test / hush" button. The carbon monoxide
detector subsequently will work normally again, indicated by the green LED blin-
king every 50 seconds and the display showing the current PPM value.
