5.3. Physical installation conditions
To ensure smooth operation, as well as reduced energy consumption, it is important that the appliance is installed
correctly.
Ventilation
The compressor and the condenser radiate heat, therefore they require good ventilation. Environments with little
ventilation are not adequate, the appliance should be installed in a compartment with an opening, such as a
window or a door to the exterior, to ensure the air is changed. The environment should not be too humid. Check
that the openings or the grills that ventilate the appliance are not blocked or covered. To ensure smooth operation,
the distances indicated in paragraph 5.4 below must be followed, between its sides and furniture or background
walls.
Away from heat
Do not place the appliance in a location which is directly exposed to sunlight, next to a stove or to any other heat
source.
Room temperature/humidity
The room temperature must be adapted to the climate class of the appliance. Check the climate class on the
characteristics plate and compare it with the following table:
