Before Putting into Operation
Before any work on the machine itself, pull
the mains plug.
For angle grinders that can be mounted with the
handle reversed, ensure that the unit is mounted
with the handle in the position as shown in Fig-
ure A; the On/Off switch points downwards. Oth-
erwise the handle and handle release lever can
be damaged by flying sparks.
Mounting (see figure
Fasten the stand to a workbench. A 22 mm span-
ner is required for mounting. Clamp the angle
grinder in the horizontal position, parallel to the
slot in the base plate.
Loosely fasten the gear case of the angle grinder
in the grinder stand from the bottom with hexag-
onal bolt 2 and then from above with the tilting le-
ver 1. Use the drill holes in the gear case for this.
Afterwards screw the adjusting screw 12 into the
drill hole of the gear case.
Aligning the angle grinder
(see figure
)
B
The cutting disc must be aligned parallel to the
slot in the base plate. Use the hexagonal bolt 2
and the adjusting bolt 12 for alignment of the an-
gle grinder. Align the angle grinder parallel and
lightly tighten hexagonal bolt 2.
Carry out the final adjustment with adjusting
bolt 12 and tighten. Then tighten the hexagonal
bolt. Afterwards tighten the tilting lever 1.
Fine adjustment (see figure
The aligned unit can be moved right and left-
wards in the grinder stand. For fine adjustment
do not unclamp the aligned unit again.
By loosening the clamping device 11 with the al-
len wrench 10, the machine holder can be moved
right and leftwards, until the exact position is
reached. After fine adjustment has been carried
out, retighten the clamping device 11 again with
the allen wrench 10.
Mounting the protective device
Mount the spark guard 4 on the face side of the
base plate. The spark guard 4 must be latched in
and positioned vertical. Use a slotted screwdriver
for mounting.

Adjustment of the machine holder
(see figure
In order to apply the necessary pressure when
cutting workpieces with large cross section, the
spring tension of the machine holder can be ad-
justed.
Loosen the clamping device 11 with the allen
wrench 10. Set the tool holder at the slotted
bushing with spring 9 to the required position.
Tighten the clamping device with the allen
wrench 10.
Inserting the workpiece
(see figure
Mount the length stop 3, which is available as an
accessory, in the extension of the quick-release
vice 6 with the allen wrench 10.
)
Insert the workpiece to be cut into the grinder
C
stand, adjust to the required length using length
stop 3 and clamp with clamping lever 5. Long
workpieces must be underlaid/supported at their
free end.
The required cutting angle can be adjusted with
help of the cutting angle scale 7. Loosen the fas-
tening bolt 8 on the quick-release vice 6 using the
Allen key 10.
Disengage the stop pin 14 and turn the quick-re-
lease vice 6 to the desired angle. For the 0°, 15°,
30°, 45° cutting angles, allow the stop pin 14 to
engage in the corresponding hole of the base
plate. Tighten the quick-release vice 6 with the
fastening bolt 8.

Operating Instructions
Do not strain the machine so heavily that it
comes to a standstill.
Cutting discs become very hot during opera-
tion; do not touch before they have cooled
down.
The cutting disc must not touch the base plate
when lowering it.
Observe the maximum cutting depth when fas-
tening a workpiece. Observe the maximum
stock capacity when cutting pipes.
When cutting, do not press, tilt or oscillate the
machine. Work with moderate feed, adapted to
the material being cut.
