3. Before storage, drain the remaining water from the
appliance. Turn the water flow regulation valve to open the
water flow completely, stand the device upright for a while.
The remaining water will drain from the nozzles.
NOTE: An incompletely drained appliance can be
damaged by frost.

frost-free location where the temperature will not fall below

where it is not subject to adverse weather conditions.
• Always empty water from all hoses, attachments and unit,
before storing.

Cleaning

WARNING!
To avoid serious personal injury, always turn
the unit off and remove the battery before cleaning or servicing.
1. Use a wet cloth to clean the outside of the unit. Do not
use strong detergents, household cleaners that contain
aromatic oils (e.g. pine and lemon) or harsh solvents such
as kerosene as these substances can damage the plastic
housing or the handles. Do not use a hose or pressure
washer to clean the appliance.
2. Remove the soiling, debris or sand/stone from the brush.
If necessary, remove the brushes and clean them under
running water. See instruction in Cleaning/Replacing the
Brushes on page 14 for how to disassemble the brushes.
Clean the Water Inlet Filter
To ensure good performance, check and clean the water inlet
filter on the end of the water inlet adapter.
1. Turn the water inlet adapter counterclockwise and remove
it from the water inlet (Fig. 20).

2. Insert a plier into the smaller end of the adapter to take out
the water inlet filter, as shown (Fig. 21).

3. Rinse all components with warm water, including the water
inlet filter, the water inlet adapter, and the garden hose
adapter to prevent any foreign matter from clogging the
appliance.
Cleaning/Replacing the Brushes
IMPORTANT: Only use original replacement parts specified for
this appliance. The use of parts that do not meet the original
equipment specifications may lead to improper performance of
the patio cleaner, may compromise operator safety.
1. Turn off the appliance and remove the battery from the
battery compartment.
2. Turn the appliance sideway so the brush fastener is facing
up. Turn the brush fastener counterclockwise to unlock the
brush (Fig. 22).
