THANK YOU FOR PURCHASING THE NSR-1516 LED WORK LIGHT.
PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING YOUR WORK LIGHT.

WARNINGS
y Lithium-ion batteries must be used and charged properly. Improper use can result in serious injury,
fi re, or death.
y NOT FOR USE IN HAZARDOUS LOCATIONS. Do not use this product in explosive atmospheres,
near fl ammable liquids, or where explosion proof or intrinsically safe lighting is required.
y DO NOT use this product in the proximity of vehicles or equipment when there is a risk of
fl ammable liquids coming into contact with the fl ashlight.
y Light can become hot while on. To prevent damage DO NOT cover or place next to any potentially
fl ammable materials while in use.
y Do not leave the battery in direct sunlight or use or store the battery inside cars in hot weather.
y Do not expose the battery to water or salt water, or allow the battery to get wet.
y Do not store the battery with metallic objects that may cause a short circuit.
y Immediately discontinue use of the battery if the battery emits an unusual smell, feels hot, changes
color, changes shape or appears abnormal in any way.
y Keep out of the reach of children.
INITIAL USE
Fully charge the NSR-1516 before the fi rst use, or if the battery is new or has been unused for several
months. The maximum charge time required is approximately 3 hours.
DAILY USE
CHARGER INPUT: 12 VDC Max
y Use only the supplied Nightstick AC, DC adapter, or USB cord. For best performance, charge the
NSR-1516 when the light starts to dim.
y Connect the AC, DC adapter, or USB cord into the bottom of the light.
y The total time to full charge the NSR-1516 varies depending on the remaining charge in the
battery pack. The battery indicator light fl ashes when the minimum battery level is reached to
indicate it needs to be charged.
y In order for the light to remain waterproof, the rubber plug must be reinserted into the charging

SETTING UP THE WORK LIGHT ON THE TRIPOD (MODEL 1516C)
Opening the tripod leg set:
Fully unfold the Tripod leg set and slide the center collar down until it locks into place.
WARNING: Do NOT attempt to use the tripod leg set unless the legs are fully extended and
locked into place. This is the ONLY position that the leg set can be used in.

Closing the tripod leg set:
Press the release button on the side of the center collar and then raise the center collar up until
the tripod leg set is fully retracted.
Adjusting the column sections:
The tripod has two adjustable sections of the column that can be used to customize the working
height of the work light. Each section is locked into place by means of a cam lock lever. (Image 2) To
adjust the height of either section, release the cam lock lever for that section, extend the column to the
desired length and the re-lock the cam lock lever.
Removing the light from the tripod:
The NSR-1516C is designed so that the light can be removed from the tripod. To remove the light,
grasp the light's handle with one hand, and the top of the tripod stand with the other hand a pull the
magnet away from the mounting plate.
Installing the light head onto the tripod:
CAUTION: Before installing the light on to the tripod, ensure that the leg set is fully extended
and locked in place and that both of the two column cam lock levers are securely locked.
Line up the magnetic base with the tripod's mounting plate (Image 3) allowing the magnet to
attach. Check to make sure the light is in the center of the plate so that the it is securely mounted.
OPERATION
CAUTION: BECAUSE THE NSR-1516 HAS A MAGNETIC BASE, IT IS LIKELY
THAT IT WILL BE PLACED IN AN ELEVATED POSITION ABOVE THE GROUND.
THEREFORE CAUTION SHOULD BE USED TO BE CERTAIN THAT THE MAGNET
IS SECURELY ATTACHED TO THE METAL SURFACE BEFORE RELEASING THE
LIGHT. IT IS ALSO ADVISED THAT EXTRA CARE BE TAKEN WHEN ADJUSTING
OR MOVING THE CORD SO THAT THE WORK LIGHT DOES NOT COME LOOSE
AND FALL TO THE GROUND.
The NSR-1516 has a single three-position toggle switch located on the bottom of the light.
y Left position: High mode
y Right position: Low mode
y Center: Off
WARRANTY
1 YEAR WARRANTY
Bayco Products, Inc. warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials
to the original purchaser for 1 year from the date of purchase, and includes the LEDs, housing, lenses,
electronics, switches, rechargeable batteries and chargers. Bulbs (other than LEDs) are covered for 90
days from the date of purchase.
We will repair or replace this product should we determine it to be defective. This is the only warranty,
expressed or implied, including any warranty of merchantability or fi tness for a particular purpose.

UTILISATION INITIALE
Chargez la NSR-1516 à bloc avant la première utilisation ou si la batterie est neuve ou n'a pas été
