INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Always check that the clips are entirely over the rims and that it sits on the pot each time you
closed the lid.
Make sure that the heat of the stove covers only the bottom of the pot.
Once steam starts rushing out of the cooking valve, first lower the heat to minimum and then turn
the cooking valve entirely to "cooking". Now, the cooking process will start. Keep the time for any
cooking period you need. If excess steam continues to discharge from the steam outler although
you have turned down the heat, choose the smallest stove to cook.
After the cooking time is up, turn off the stove and do not immediately discharge the steam. After
waiting for about 3 to 4 minutes, turn the cooking valve so that your hand is not covering the
steam and completely empty the steam remaining in the pot.
Press the open button to remove the clips. Make sure to open the lid away from yourself. When
the lid off your pressure cooker does not open, do not force it to open; make sure that the pres-
sure inside has discharged.
After using your pressure cooker, wash and dry the lid, gasket and pot.
Midlt smear some vegetable oil on the gasket.
When you are not using your pressure cooker, put the lid on faced upwards and put it away.
PREPARING YOUR PRESSURE COOKER FOR COOKING
Opening the lid of your pressure cooker:
Press on the open button with your thumb while
the cooking valve button is on "steam discharge" and enable the clips to open to both sides. Lift
the lid off the pot.
Placing your ingredients in the pressure cooker:
Add at least one cup of water/liquids
to the cooker for each meal. Fill the pot half way the most. Liquids and ingredients are included
when only filling it up half way. If you are cooking foods that will produce foam (legumes, peas,
rice, etc.), fill your pot up less than half way. Remember; half of your pot is for your ingredients
and the other half is for steam. The cooking time will be less depending on how full the pot is.
Closing the lid of your pressure cooker:
The cooking valve button should be at "steam dis-
charge". Place the lid on the pot while the clips are open. While pressing down on the lid with one
hand, use your other hand's thumb to press the close button. Check that the clips have locked on
the pot and that they completely contact the pot.
Cooking: Place your pressure cooker on the stove. Make sure that the fire of the stove only co-
vers the bottom of the pot. The cooking valve should be turned towards steam discharge which
means it's open. A while later, the cooking valve will start to whistle and when a strong stream of
steam starts coming out, first lower the heat to a minimum. Then turn the cooking valve button to
1 or 2 according to what you are cooking. After this procedure, the cooking phase is initiated and
you can start timing. Do not touch the cooking valve during the cooking phase; the valve inside
the cooking valve will discharge the excess pressure. Remember; cooking on the lowest heat
possible will enable to you to cook both more tasty meals and more economically.
Ending Cooking:
After the cooking phase, close your stove and leave your pressure cooker to
wait for about 3-4 minutes. During this period, the pressure in your cooker will minimize. When you
want to open your cooker, slowly turn the cooking valve towards "steam discharge" and comple-
