HOW TO OPERATE
1. Press and release ON/MEASURE
button for a single beep, and while
keeping the unit aimed at your target, wait for a double beep to
complete the measurement.
Read measurement in LCD.
2. Press LASER button to use laser as a pointer — aim at target and hold
the button down. Release button to turn off laser.
3. Press FRONT/BACK
button to measure from front or back of device.
Note: When the FRONT/BACK button is pressed with a measurement in
the LCD, the measurement is cleared and

SAFETY WARNINGS
a. Never aim laser beam at a person's eyes.
b. Do not leave device unattended or let an unauthorized person or child
use the device.
c. Do not aim at mirror-like surfaces.
HELPFUL USER HINTS
a. To clean your LDM Il use a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse in or spray
with water. Avoid all liquid or abrasive cleaners.
b. The electronic module in your LDM Il was sealed after factory calibration,
therefore, no user-serviceable parts or adjustments are required.
c. Your LDM Il is temperature compensated. However, small variations
in accuracy may occur with changes in altitude or humidity. These
variations can typically be ignored for estimating purposes.
d. If moved from one temperature environment to another, allow
the LDM Il time to adjust to the surrounding air temperature
before operating.
e. When measuring, make sure you are no less than 20 inches (0.5m)
from your target.
A shorter distance will give a false reading.
f. An object in the path of the measuring beam can cause a false
reading. Simply move the LDM Il above or to the side of the
obstruction to ensure you have a 2' width clearance.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
INSTRUCTIONS
a. Remove screw on battery door.
b. To remove battery, insert small screwdriver under battery
near small tab and apply a small amount of upward force.
c. Replace with two CR2032 Lithium batteries, + side up.
d. Replace screw.

1. Pulse y suelte el botón ON/MEASURE hasta que emita un solo pitido y mientras
