Operating Instructions
1. Setting and Testing
a) Several the side handle into the required angle
position on handle holder. (The side handle
groove and protruding section of product should
be properly inserted.)
b) Before running machine, tighten the side handle
by turning the clamping the handle body
clockwise.
c) After installing an accessory, run the power tool at
maximum no-load speed for 5seconds and check
the condition of the power tool.
2. Limits on size of workpiece and type of
material
(See figure 3)
a) Drilling in concrete or stone: Use the proper drill
bit (Standard or optional parts). Refer to the
Specifications table for maximum capacity of the
bit.
b) Drilling in metal or plastic: Use the drill bit for
normal steel materials. (Ø0.8mm ~ Ø13mm)
3. Using for a screwdriver
Place the change lever in rotation position, and
then apply the drill bit onto the screw head.
Depress the main body to fasten a screw. Adjust
the switch knob to control the speed.
4. Changing from impact to rotation
(See figure 4)
a) Drilling mode: Drill mode is used in general drilling
operations.
b) Impacting mode: To drill concrete, stone, tiles, and
other solid materials, change to hammer mode so
that the drill bit impact the workpiece while the
drill head is rotating.
5. Switching
(See figure 5)
a) The tool speed can be controlled from 0 to
maximum speed.
b) Turn the speed control knob to the right side to
increase the speed, and turn the speed control
knob to the left side to decrease the speed.
c) Depress the switch lock with pulling the switch
trigger for continuous operation.
d) Pull the trigger to release the switch lock. The
switch lock works at any control position.
6. Rotating direction
(See figure 6)
Press the direction change lever to R, and the
drill will be rotated clockwise. On the contrary,
press the lever to L, and the drill will be rotated
counterclockwise.
Warning: To change the rotating direction during
operation, release the switch lock and turn the
direction change lever. Other- wise, the lever will
be damaged.
7. Pressure applied to the electric drill
Unnecessary pressure applied to the electric drill
will not speed up the operation for making a hole.
On the contrary, it may damage the drill bit tip,
decrease work efficiency and reduce the life for
the electric drill.
8. Penetrated hole
Drill bit can be broken during penetrating into
work material. Reduce the pressure applied to the
electric tool during penetrating into work material.
9. Drilling with larger outer diameter
The reaction increases in proportion to the
diameter of the drill. To drill work material
vertically, keep weight on both feet and hold the
tool firmly with both hands.
10. Stopper
The stopper (standard part) keeps the drilling
depth. Specially, this is convenient way to make
many holes with the same depth.
