Installing the weather station on the digital picture frame
1. Connect the indoor sensor to the appropriate plug
socket.
2. Connect the outdoor sensor to the main device.
Once the batteries have been inserted, the
main device automatically receives data
about the outdoor temperature from the
outdoor sensor.
The battery compartment is on the rear of
the outdoor sensor. Unscrew the screws in
order to open the battery compartment.
Note: After the appropriate batteries (2 x 1.5V AAA LR03)
have been inserted, the LED blinks and the outdoor
sensor is ready for use. Inserting the batteries with
incorrect polarity will result in damage to the product.
Caution:
Do not place the outdoor sensor in or under water.
Position the device in a location protected from rain and
direct sunshine. The maximum transmission range bet-
ween the outdoor sensor and the indoor weather station
is approx. 12 m (approx. 60 m in open spaces).
We recommend installing the outdoor sensor on a north
wall of your building. Further, please avoid placing the
sensor close to materials that could block the signal
(e.g. walls with steel reinforcement), as this can nega-
tively affect the range of the device.
3. After connecting the sensors to the digital picture
frame, switch the main ON/OFF switch to the "ON"
position. The function selection menu of the digital
picture frame will appear. Now use the < / > buttons
to choose the function Weather Station, and press
ENTER. The weather station will appear.
Note: Please note that it can take up to fi ve minutes
for the correct values of the indoor and outdoor
temperature to be displayed.
4. Changing the display from °C to °F
While the weather station is being displayed, simply
press the arrow key on your remote control to easily
change the temperature units between °C and °F.
5. By pressing the ENTER key on your remote control,
you can switch between the display for:
- Indoor and outdoor temperature
- Indoor temperature only
