INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Please read and follow the instructions carefully before trying to install the
fixture. Please retain this instruction sheet for future reference.
WARNING
WHEN USING OUTDOOR, BASIC SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE
FOLLOWED TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE, ELECTRIC SHOCK, AND PERSONAL
INJURY, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
• Use only 3 (three) wire outdoor extension cords that have 3-prong
grounding plugs and grounding receptacles that accept the appliance's
plug.
• Ground fault circuit interupter (gfci) protection should be provided on the
circuit(s) or outlet(s) to be used for the wet location portable lamp.
Receptacles are available having built‐in gfci protection and are able to
be used for this measure of safety.
• Use only with an extension cord for outdoor use, such as an extension
cord of cord type SW, SWA, SOW, SOW-A, STW, STWOA, STOW, STOW-A,
SJW, SJW-A, SJOW, SJOW-A, SJTW, SJTW-A, SJTOWOR SJTOW-A.

• This product must be used in accordance with the applicable installation
code by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the
product and the hazards involved.
• Do not connect to an ungrounded supply.

• Follow any specific instructions on luminaire warning. Do not use in any
area classified as hazardous as defined in sec. 500 Of the national
electrical code, nfpa 70.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION:
1. Read all fixture markings and labels to insure correct use of the
luminaire. Additional information may be located on the fixture, separate
from this instruction sheet, regarding orientation and mounting
restrictions.
2. Do not look directly into lighted lamp.
3. Do not operate the luminaire with a missing or damaged diffuser.
4. For mounting surface, use at least 1mm (20 GA) thick unfinished steel
plate or at least 1.2mm (18 GA) thick painted steel plate.
5. IMPORTANT – Use secondary safety chain or cable if mounted overhead.
