AUTO SHUT-OFF FUNCTION
• The iron will automatically shut off if left standing still and the auto shut-off lamp
will flash.
• In upright position it will auto shut-off after 8 mins.
• In horizontal position it will auto shut-off after 30 secs.
• To switch the iron on again, simply move the iron.
CARE
Always allow the iron to cool down completely before storing the appliance
away.
We recommend the water is emptied from the appliance before storing.
To protect the soleplate, we recommend storing the iron on its heel.
When cleaning, or storing away, always pull out the plug from the socket outlet.
Never yank the cord to disconnect from the outlet, instead grasp the plug and
pull to disconnect.
• Always unplug the iron before cleaning and allow to cool completely.
• Clean the iron with a slightly damp cloth.
• Do not use any abrasive cleaning agents.
• To clean the iron and remove deposits of starch or water soluble, rub the
soleplate with a soft cloth soaked in vinegar and water.
