3 Operation and Handling
This chapter provides you with important information and notes on the operation and
basic settings of the appliance.
3.1 Before first use
Clean the device as described in the "Cleaning and maintenance" section.
3.2 Operation

Wait for 2 hours before you switch the ice cube maker on. This time is required for the
cooling agent to settle.

The recommended room temperature is 10 °C to 32 °C.
1.
Check that the silicone plug is correctly inserted into the water outlet on the undersi-
de of the device.

Place the device on a stable, flat surface.
3.
Open the transparent cover (11) and remove the ice cube basket (1).
4.
You will find a filter (4) at the bottom of the water tank (3). Make sure that the filter is
firmly inserted.
5.
Fill the water tank (3) with fresh drinking water. Pay attention to the "MAX" mark.
6.
Replace the ice cube basket and close the device cover.
7.
Plug the power socket into mains power.
8.
Switch the device on by pressing the "On/Off" button (17).
9.
Use the selection button (16) to select the desired ice cube size.
