FUNCTIONS
D8 / D10 / D12 / D15
1. INPUT LEVEL
This controls the input gain or volume of the signal coming
into the speaker and allows you to adjust the volume of your
microphone, instrument, or audio source.
2. MIC/LINE IN SELECTOR
This switch allows you to choose the signal level at the input. When
pressed, it sets to microphone level. This is important for matching
the input level to the source. When released, it sets the input to
line level.
3. COMBI INPUT
These are input jacks that can accept both XLR and 6.35mm (1/4")
jack connectors. They can be used for line or microphone level
signals, making the speaker versatile for various audio sources.
4. SIGNAL INPUT
This input is designed for RCA phono and AUX 3.5mm cables
connectivity. It provides flexibility for connection of different types
of audio sources.
5. MODE
This feature toggles the built-in digital signal processor between
different settings to adjust the sound characteristic. The indicator
LEDs show which setting is selected, with options such as [MUSIC],
[LIVE], [SPEECH] and [SUB] (when used in conjunction with a
subwoofer). See page 8 for ore info.
6. BLUETOOTH/ TWS PAIR BUTTON
This button is used to set up pairing with Bluetooth-capable
devices like mobile, tablets, and laptops. It allows you to stream
audio wirelessly to the speaker. True Wireless Stereo" (TWS) means
that you can connect two speakers without any wires between
them to create a stereo sound system. ( see further information on
page 08)
7. LED SWITCH
This switch controls the LED indicator light on the speaker. When
pressed, it turns the LED lights on, and when released, it turns
them off. This feature is often used to conserve power or reduce
visual distractions during performances.
8. MASTER VOLUME CONTROL
The master volume controls the overall level or power of the
speaker.
9. MIX OUT
This is a male XLR-type connector that produces a processed mix of
both Mic/Line Inputs. It can be used to daisy-chain several active
speakers together, allowing you to connect multiple speakers in a
chain for larger sound setups.
10. POWER SWITCH
This is the main power switch for the speaker. Switching it up
turns the speaker on, and switching it down turns it off. Please
make sure the level control is down before turning the speaker
on, to prevent sudden loud noises when the speaker is powered
up.
11. IEC SOCKET WITH FUSE HOLDER
This is the power input for the speaker and uses a standard IEC
power cable for connection.
