2. Route the rear camera's power cable around the ceiling of
your car, or in a gap between the windshield and the interior, etc.
Make sure it is placed in a way that does not interfere
with driving (See the Fig below). Cable clips can be used to
secure the cables out of harms way.
Note: You may choose to tuck the cable between the paneling
of your windshield and/or your A/B/C-pillar space if available.
Make sure that the cable routing does not interfere with
your car's airbags or other safety features.
3. Use provided adhesive tape to mount the rear camera at
whichever angle you want to see: (Spot 1: on the rear wind-
shield or Spot 2: above the license plate). See below figure.
4. Once your CAD-E4000 Dash Cam is powered on, it will
automatically provide power to your rear camera.

Settings and Operation
The settings and operations for the Rear Camera will be synchro-
nized with the CAD-E4000, you can record video, take photos,
and configure the settings for the rear camera on the CAD-E4000
Dash Cam (Refer to the CAD-E4000 user manual).
Tips:
1. Flip left on the CAD-E4000 Dash Cam display screen to
show the Preview display window for the rear camera. Flip
left again to maximize the window to full screen. Flip right
