Occasionally clean the ventilation slots and the battery
terminals with a soft, clean and dry brush.
– Do not use chemical substances for cleaning the bat-
tery.
Warranty and liability.
The warranty for the product is valid in accordance
with the legal regulations in the country where it is mar-
keted.
The delivery scope of your power tool may include
only a part of the accessories described or shown in this
Instruction Manual.
Environmental protection, disposal.
Do not dispose of the batteries into household-
waste!
Packaging, worn out power tools and accessories
should be sorted for environmental-friendly recycling.
Dispose of batteries only when discharged.
For batteries that are not completely discharged, insu-
late the terminals with tape as a protective measure
against short-circuiting.
Disposal:
Electrical appliances in accordance with Directive
2012/19/EU and batteries/rechargeable batteries in
accordance with Directive 2006/66/EC must not be
disposed of with household waste.
Electrical appliances and rechargeable batteries must
be collected separately and taken to a recycling
company for environmentally friendly disposal.
If the products contain batteries/rechargeable
batteries or illuminants that can be removed from the
old appliance without destroying it, these must be
removed before disposal and disposed of separately
as batteries/rechargeable batteries or illuminants.
Ask the local authorities or your specialist dealer/
manufacturer about recycling centers and collection
points for the proper disposal of electrical waste and
batteries/rechargeable batteries.
Transport:
Li-ion batteries are subject to hazardous goods
legislation and must therefore comply with the
requirements for hazardous goods labelling and
transport packaging when transported by third
parties.
However, transport by road by the user is possible
without any requirements.
Only batteries with undamaged casings may be
shipped. The battery must be packed in such a way
that it cannot move, and open contacts must be taped
shut.
