7. Charging the batt ery
Detailed instructions on charging the battery can be found in the full user manual.
1. Switch off the appliance before charging.
2. Charge your vacuum cleaner using the mains power adapter (8) supplied (see Fig. 3).
The charging time is approx 4–5 hours.
3. After charging, remove the power adapter plug from the socket again.
8. Gett ing started
Assemble the appliance as described in the full user manual and follow the instructions for
preparation.
9. Using the vacuum cleaner
1. Put on the appropriate vacuum attachment.
2. Switch on the vacuum cleaner by pressing and holding the on/off switch (21). Lock the
on/off switch by pressing the lock button (22).
3. Hold the vacuum cleaner at an angle of about 60 degrees. To vacuum, pull or push the
suction nozzle over the area to be vacuumed.
4. Touch the control field (20) to set the Auto, Max or Eco function mode. The respective
motor power is shown on the display (15) (see Fig. 2).
