•
Avoid overly warm storage to prevent
wood from drying out.
•
Ensure the item is clean and dry before
storing
Cleaning & Maintenance
•
Regular care is vital; untreated wood
surfaces are more susceptible to mould
and fungus
•
Clean using a cloth with water, and a mild
soap solution, or standard wood cleaners
Avoid aggressive cleaning agents
•
Dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth.
•
Surface discolouration will occur over
time. Sun (UV rays) and rain will affect the
colour Clean the product as described
above. If this is not sufficient, allow the
product to dry well and then sand it lightly
with fine-grain sandpaper. After remo-
ving the sanding dust, treat the product
with commercially available wood care
products or wood preservatives to seal it
permanently against the weather.
•
Natural features such as cracks, colour
variations, knots, and grain patterns are
common in wood. They enhance its rustic
appearance and do not compromise the
product's quality or stability.
•
For a natural wood appearance, treat with
a care product

High surface tensions occur during the
production of roundwood Cracks in the
wood can therefore not be ruled out
These can also occur subsequently. To

are milled into the back This does not
