UNPACKING THE DEVICE 1. Open the battery compartment located on the back of the device. 2.
Remove the insulating tab from under the batteries (if installed) or insert the batteries matching the
polarities (+ and -) indicated inside the battery compartment. 3. Close the battery compartment. 4.
Select the weight calculation mode (kg, st or lb) using the "unit" button on the back of the device. (If
there is a button) 5. Place the scale on a flat, stable surface.
STARTING THE APPLIANCE 1. Press the center of the plate with your foot and then remove it. 2. '0.0' is
displayed. 3. The device is powered down and ready for operation. This initialization process must be
repeated if the device is moved. Otherwise, just step on the board.
USING THE DEVICE 1. Stand on the platform and wait without moving while the device calculates your
weight. 2. Your weight is displayed. 3. Descend. Your weight remains displayed for a few seconds. 4.
The device turns off.

scale to another as there are some deviations due to manufacturing tolerances. • Positioning your
scale on a flat, hard surface ensures the best possible measurement and accuracy. • Weigh yourself
at the same time every day, before meals and without shoes. The ideal is to weigh yourself as soon as
you get up. • Your scale rounds up or down. If you weigh yourself twice and get two different readings,
your weight is somewhere in between. • Clean the device with a damp cloth. Do not use chemical
detergents. • Avoid bringing the device into contact with water; which could damage the electronic
components. • Take care of the device – it is a precision instrument. Do not drop it or jump on it. •

IN CASE OF PROBLEMS If you have difficulty using your device: • Check that the battery is inserted
correctly. • Verify that you have selected the correct Stones/Pounds, Kilograms or Pounds calculation.
• Check that the device is placed on a flat surface and not in contact with a wall. • Repeat the 'Getting
Started' procedure each time the unit is moved. • . "ERR or oL" LED The weight exceeds the maximum
capacity. «LO» LED Replace the battery, «C» LED, start weighing again
