4. Press the lever switch (3) down until it locks into place. The toasting
process has now begun. the indicator light of the CANCEL button (7)
remains on during toasting.
Note:
- The lever switch cannot be pressed down if the device is disconnected
from the mains.
- If you are only toasting one slice of bread, a lower browning level should
be chosen. keep in mind that, with consecutive toasting, the bread will
get progressively darker at the same browning level, due to the absorption
of heat by the device. at the end of every toasting process, let the toaster
cool down for approx. 20 seconds.
5. You can change the browning level during the toasting process, in case
you realise after starting that you have chosen too light or too dark a
degree of browning.
6. The device automatically switches off once the set browning level has
been reached. after switching off, the lever switch pops up.
The indicator light of the CANCEL button goes out.
The toast slices are released and can be removed.
Caution-Risk of Burning! Be very careful when removing the toast slices,
since the metal parts and the bread can become very hot.
7. Press the CANCEL button in order to stop the toasting process early.
The lever switch pops up and the tast slices can be removed.
8. Pull the mains plug out of the socket when the device is no longer
being used.
T OAST I N G FROZ EN BREAD
1. Turn the browning control (6) to the desired level and press the lever
switch (3) down until it locks into place. press the DEFROST button (5).
the toasting process starts and the indicator lights of the DEFROST and
CANCEL (7) buttons turn on.
2. When toasting frozen bread using the DEFROST button, the toasting
process lasts longer than with bread that is not frozen.
WARM I N G U P ALREADY T OAST ED BREAD
1. Turn the browning control (6) to the desired level and press the lever
switch (3) down until it locks into place.
2. Then press the REHEAT button (4). the reheating process starts and
the indicator lights of the REHEAT and CANCEL buttons turn on.
