Remove the lid cover from the trash bin, open the battery compartment cover
(Picture 1) to insert 4 x"C" size batteries according to the mark of "positive(+)
and negative(-) pole" in the battery compartment, and then close the
compartment cover.

Insert the trash bag through the smart retainer ring (Illustration 2). Refer to
"How does smart retainer ring work?"

Place the lid cover onto the trash bin body.

Turn on the power switch on the back of the lid cover (Illustration 3). A red
indicator light will turn on for 1 second followed by one flash lasts 4-6 seconds,
which indicates the system is on and ready to use.

To open the lid automatically, place your hand or objects about 15 cm above
the sensor panel, the lid will remain open if it detects objects within its sensor
zone. It will close automatically after about 7 seconds no detection.
6.
To manually open the lid, press the manual button OPEN to keep the lid open
and it will not close automatically until you press the "CLOSE" button. The
trash bin will then resume operating in automatic mode.
7.
To open the base bin , you can lift up the handle softly and pull out the drawer
(Illustratation 3), and close it by pushing the drawer directly.
