4 Remove any excess coffee powder from the edge of the filter so
the coffee sits about 3mm from the top edge of the filter
Note: Too much coffee in the filter will result in a poor seal
and leakage.
5 Connect the porta-filter to the dock and turn it anti-clockwise
until it is fixed tightly. The porta-filter handle should be pointing
forwards.
6 Ensure that the Steam Control is set to the 'OFF' position and
place a cup onto the drip tray.
7 Insert the mains plug into the nearest socket.
8 Press the POWER button, the button will start flashing while the
Espresso Machine is preheating.
9 Once the preheating has finished, both the POWER & BREWING
button will light up.
10 Press the Brewing Button which will start the brewing process
hot water will be dispensed into the cup. Be careful not to overfill
the cup.
Note: the Brewing Button will flash whilst the coffee is
being dispensed.
11 The Espresso machine will automatically stop after 90 seconds
(giving approx 200 - 300mls of coffee). To manually stop the
Espresso machine press the Brewing button.
WARNING! Do not leave the Espresso Machine unattended
whilst the coffee is being dispensed.
12. Allow the porta-filter to cool down completely before removing
the coffee grounds and cleaning with running water.
