4. USE OF THE ACCESSORY
Use this accessory only for the uses for which
it has been designed. Using this accessory for any
other use is dangerous and may cause damage to
the user and/or the machine.
Do not rely solely on the safety devices on this
machine.
Warning due to electrical voltage.
Do not touch the power plug with your hands
damp or wet
4.1. CHECK POINTS BEFORE START-UP
It is necessary to pay attention to possible loosening
of the connections to the circuit or water leaks. If you
detect any anomaly, carefully verify the installation.
4.2. ASSEMBLY, START-UP AND STOPPING
4.2.1. ASSEMBLY OF THE PRESSURE STOP IN THE
CIRCUIT
1. Unplug the connected pump from the mains. To do
this, remove the plug from the power outlet.
1. Screw the water inlet (3) of the pressure switch to
the part where the pump discharge is located. The
device has a 1" external thread. The diameter of the
connected duct must not be less.
2. Screw the water outlet (4) of the pressure switch to
the selected pipe through which it will push the water.
The device has a 1" external thread. The diameter of
the connected duct must not be less.
4.2.2. SWITCHED ON
1. Open the valve at the end of the circuit to bleed any
air in the duct.
2. Connect the pressure switch to the pump power
outlet with its female outlet (6) and male outlet (5).
to the electrical network.
3. The Power ON LED lights up.
The pressure switch activates the pump.
After approximately 20 to 25 seconds, the pump has
reached operating pressure. During the
pump operation the Pump ON LED will remain
illuminated.
Warning! If the pressure switch detects a flow
rate that is too low, it automatically deactivates the
pump. This serves as protection against dry running.
In this case, the Failure led will illuminate. If this
situation occurs, check whether the suction hose
connected to the pump is arranged correctly, whether
a block valve on the suction hose has been closed by
mistake, or whether a filter has become dirty, etc.
4.2.3. RESET
If the pump were running dry and the water flow rate
dropped below the minimum configured value, the
pressure switch would turn off the pump for safety
reasons. The Failure LED will then light up. Proceed as
follows to turn the pressure switch and pump back on:
• Stop the pump from running dry by filling the
suction hose (if possible) or the pump with water.
Many pumps have a water filling funnel for this
purpose. In this regard, consult the instruction
manual of your pump.
• Once dry running has stopped, press the Restart
key on the pressure switch.
