PIR-CAM-30
1. Description
The PIR-CAM-30 Wireless sensor allows motion detection in the protected area and, thanks to the built-in camera, allows
visual verification of events causing violations. The use of an infrared diode allows the sensor to take pictures in the absence of light, in
complete darkness. The taken picture is sent to the server whose parameters (address and port) should be defined during configuration of
the control panel (see instructions for EBS Config 2.0, chapter Control panel settings, option Photo server), and saved to the internal memory
on a microSD card (if installed). PIR-CAM-30 has been designed to work with CPX300W alarm system.
Note: The parameters for the image server (OSM.Vision) should be set according to the data received from the monitoring service provider.
2. Features.
Passive infrared detection,
Two channels of recording images - on OSM.Vision and microSD memory card,
Photos in QVGA resolution (320x240 pixels),
Temperature compensation,
Test signal every 15 minutes, alarm with a photo taken from the controlled area not less than every 3 minutes,
Control of low battery level,
Possibility of connecting an external power supply,
Maximum transmission range in the open-air 1200 m,
Tamper signal at opening the housing and breaking from the wall when mounted with screws.
3. Selection of the sensor installation location.
away from heat sources (e.g. radiators, windows exposed to light), fans, metal objects, large magnetic fields,
away from objects obstructing the view of the control area,
away from and not in front of objects set in motion by the wind (e.g. curtains/blinds at windows),
at a height of approx. 2.1 - 2.4 m.
4. Battery installation.
designed so that no additional tools are needed to open the
housing (e.g. to replace the battery). To do so, press the sensor
in the place shown in fig. 1 (step 1) and swing the housing (step
2). Then remove the used batteries, insert the new ones (3 x AA
1.5V) in accordance to the polarity direction and assemble the
housing.
5. Pairing
. Inserting the battery into an unpaired detector will cause the blue LED to light up once. It can be added to the system using radio
communication via:
Pressing ADD+ button on the control panel's mainboard. After pressing, the control panel will enter the pairing mode, which will be
signalled by lighting up the yellow LED above the button. Then insert the battery into the detector. When the control panel detects the
detector, the green RFMON LED and the blue MODE LED will flash three times in sequence
by blinking the blue LED in the detector twice. NOTE: To exit the pairing mode, press the EXIT button.
Use the "Detect Device" function in EBS Config 2.0 (see instructions for EBS Config 2.0, Devices tab).
The detector can also be added by entering the serial number in the EBS Config 2.0 desktop application or by reading the QR code in the
mobile application of the same name. NOTE: Please note that adding devices in this way requires sending the configuration to the control
panel!
6. Unpairing
.
Inserting the battery into the paired detector will light the blue LED twice. It can be unpair by:
Pressing DEL- button on the control panel's mainboard. The unpairing process will be signalled by lighting up the yellow LED above the
button. Pressing and releasing the tamper switch on the detector (e.g. by closing and opening the rear cover) will cause its unpair with
the control panel, which will be signalled by single flash the blue LED in the detector
returns to normal operation mode.
Battery removal. To unpair the detector, following steps have to be performed three times:
1. remove the battery
Unpairing will be confirmed by single flash the blue LED in the detector. NOTE: Please remember that after unpairing the detector, it should
also be removed from the control panel!
