9. Cleaning & Disinfections
9.1. Blood pressure measuring devices
Cleaning:
To clean the device, use only a soft, dry cloth.
The ball, valve and tubes are to be wiped clean with a mild
detergent and a damp cloth.
Disinfection:
For disinfection of the device by wiping (minimum exposure
time of at least 5 minutes) it is recommended to use the
disinfectant Mikrozid® sensitive liquid (by Schülke & Mayr).
9.2. Arm cuffs
Cleaning:
If necessary, wipe the cuff clean with a damp cloth. Mild soapy
water may be used for cleaning.
Disinfection:
The reusable cuffs can be disinfected with medical alcohol
70%. After disinfection, let the cuffs air dry.
10. Transportation and Storage
Transport and store the devices incl. accessories in a
way so that they are protected from dust, moisture, and
contamination.
