2) Electric safety
a) The product's power plug must be suited to the local current socket. Never tamper with the power plug.
Refraining from modifying the power plug reduces the risk of electric shock.
b) Keep the appliance protected from rain and humidity.
The penetration of water inside the product increases the risk of electric shock.
d) Never use the charging cable for other uses than those described above. Never use it to pull or hang the product.
Never remove the power plug from the current socket by pulling on the cable. Never bring the cable near sources of
heat, oil, cutting edges or moving machine parts.
Damaged or tangled electric cables increase the risk of electric shock.
e) Whenever using the product outdoors, use only extension cords designed for outdoor use.
The use of a homologated extension cord for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
3) Personal safety
a) Users must concentrate on what they are doing and handle the product carefully during use. Never use the
product when tired or when under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medicine. A momentary distraction during use may
lead to serious accident, injury and damage.
b) Always wear Personal Protective Equipment and safety gloves.
c) Avoid the accidental starting of the product. Before plugging it into a current socket and/or connecting it to the
rechargeable battery, before using or moving it, always check to make sure that the product has been switched off.
Keeping your finger on the power switch when transporting the product and/or connecting it to a current socket with the
power switch set in ON creates a hazardous situation that may lead to serious accidents.
d) Avoid working from unusual body positions. Makes sure to always work from a steady, balanced position. This
will give you better control over the product whenever unexpected circumstances arise.
e) Always wear adequate clothing. Never wear loose, flowing clothing or wear bracelets or necklaces. Always keep
long hair tied back and keep all clothing and gloves far from moving parts. Loose, flowing clothing, jewelry and long
hair can easily get caught up in moving parts.
4) Accurate treatment and correct use of the product
a) Never subject the product to overload. Use the product only as described for the case at hand. Using the product
correctly and with the right accessory allows you to work better and more safely with all its power and performance.
b) Never use the product if the power switch shows signs of defect or damage.
A product with a broken power switch is dangerous and must be repaired immediately.
c) Before proceeding to machine setting operations, changing accessories, or setting the machine aside at the end of
work, always unplug it from the current socket or make sure that the power switch is set in OFF. This precaution
ensures that the product cannot be started accidentally.
d) Whenever the product is not being used, store it out of reach of children. Never allow the product to be used by
people who are unaccustomed to using it or have not read these instructions.
e) Service the product by working with all due care. Make sure that all its moving parts are in perfect working order,
that they do not jam, and that there are no broken parts or parts damaged to the extent to compromise operation.
Repair all damaged parts before using the product. Numerous accidents have been caused by products that have not been
accurately serviced.
f) Always keep tools and accessories clean.
g) Always use the product, optional accessories and tools for specific applications, etc. as indicated in these
instructions while bearing the work conditions and operations to be performed in mind. Using accessories for uses
other than those permitted may create hazardous situations.
5) Assistance
Note: Always unplug the appliance from the current socket when not in use (before servicing and when changing tools,
such as brushes, for example)
a) Have the product repaired exclusively by specializes personnel using original spare parts. This will help ensure
product.
b) Repairs must be made only by your dealer's technical servicing personnel.
The product has been designed and constructed in such way that no one but the Manufacturer's personnel can open
it.
c) Take good care of the product.
Keep the product always clean and ready for use in order to ensure high performance and safety.
Scrupulously follow the accessory changing instructions and maintenance rules.
Always keep the product's grip dry and free of oil and grease.
6) Operation and maintenance of battery-operated products.
