2. IMPORTANT SAFETY WARNINGS
• Read the whole of this manual and keep
it for further reference, in order to avoid
any damage or hazards arising from
incorrect use. If you give the appliance
to another person, make sure you give
them this manual.
• Before using the appliance, check that
the domestic mains voltage is the same
as that indicated on the appliance.
• On unpacking the appliance, check it is
in perfect condition.
• Keep packaging material and plastic
bags out of the reach of children.
• This appliance is for domestic use only
and must not be used for any purpose
other than that described in these
instructions.
• This appliance is designed for drying
human hair. The manufacturer holds no
liability for any damages arising from
incorrect use or from any use other
than that described in this manual, or
if any repairs are carried out by non-
specialised personnel. In such cases the
guarantee will be null and void.
• In case of breakdown and/or incorrect
functioning, switch off the appliance. Do
not try to repair it.
• Do not use the appliance with wet
hands.
• Do not use the hair dryer in the
bath or shower, in rooms with damp

• The hair dryer can be dangerous even
when it is switched off, and it should
therefore be unplugged immediately
after use.
• Unplug the hairdryer:
- if it is not functioning correctly
- before cleaning it
- after use.
• Do not pull on the cord to unplug the
hairdryer.
• Make sure the switch is turned to "0"
before plugging in and unplugging the
hairdryer.
• Do not switch on the hairdryer if:
- the electrical cord is damaged
- the appliance is not in perfect working
order
- it has been dropped
• Do not cover the air inlet or outlet while
the appliance is functioning.
• Do not wind the cord around the
appliance.
• The electrical cord must not be replaced
by the user. If the cord is damaged, it
must only be replaced by a Technical
Assistance Service authorised by the
manufacturer.
• Do not allow children or the disabled to
use the hairdryer without supervision.
• Do not use aerosols while the appliance
is functioning.
• Do not hold the hairdryer too close to
your head as this could damage your
hair.
• This appliance should not be used
by physically, sensorially or mentally
handicapped people or people without
experience or knowledge of it (including
children), unless they are supervised or
instructed in the use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be watched to ensure
they do not play with the appliance.
• For greater protection, we recommend
installing a residual current device (RCD)
