4.1 Charging the Power Pack
• Fold out the power plug (1) until it clicks into place
at a 90° angle to the housing.
• Start the Power Pack's charging process by
plugging it into an approved, easily accessible
outlet.
• Charging begins and ends automatically. The
status LED (3) lights up constantly during the
charging process.
• If the Power Pack is fully charged, the status
LED (3) will go out. It takes approx. 5-6 hours to
completely charge the product.
• Charge the Power Pack fully before using it for the
first time.
Note – Capacity and LED properties
• The capacity is always shown when the Power
Pack is charging.
• The colour of the status LED (3) indicates the
Power Pack's battery capacity
Red: 0-35% | Orange: 36-60% | Blue: 61-85% |
Green: 86-100%
• Press the capacity button (4) on the Power Pack
to switch it on and to check its current capacity.
• End the charging process by disconnecting the
Power Pack from the outlet.
Warning - Battery
• Do not overcharge the product or allow the
battery to completely discharge.
• Avoid storing, charging or using batteries in
extreme temperatures.
• When stored over a long period of time, batteries
should be charged regularly (at least every three
months).
4.2. Charging terminal devices
• Connect the terminal device to be charged to the
USB port (5) directly using the Micro USB cable (2)
included or using a suitable USB cable.
• Press the capacity button (4) to start the charging
process.
• Charging stops automatically when the terminal
device is fully charged.
• The current battery status of your terminal device
will appear on this device.
• End the charging process by disconnecting the
Power Pack from the terminal device.
Note – Connecting terminal devices/
optimal charging
• Ensure that the total power consumption of all
connected terminal devices does not exceed
2100 mA. Please refer to the instructions in the
operating manual of your terminal device.
• Do not connect any terminal devices while the
Power Pack is charging. This could damage the
Power Pack and the connected device.
• While the Micro-USB cable (2) is ideal for
charging Samsung and HTC products, the smart
out socket (5) offers optimised charging for
Apple devices.
• Optimised charging (at the smart out socket
(5)) means that the Power Pack recognises the
connected terminal device and supplies it with
the optimal current to minimise charging time.
• Of course, you can charge terminal devices
from any brands as long as they do not exceed
the maximum total power consumption.
