Congratulations on the purchase of your new JACOB JENSEN
Controlled Clock. The product is designed in Denmark by Jacob Jensen, whose
products have gained international recognition for their original, simple and
classic design. Jacob Jensen has received around 100 prizes from around the
world and has 19 products included in the Design Study Collection and The
Design Collection of The Museum of Modern Art in New York.

Radio Controlled Clock receives a time-setting radio signal

and indicates the exact time in a 24-hour format. Furthermore the clock is
provided with a date and month indicator, an alarm with two types of signal,
a snooze-function, a backlight for the display and a key lock.

directly on the wall using a JACOB JENSEN

Mounting and replacing batteries
The radio controlled clock requires 2 "AAA" batteries (included - mounted in
the battery-compartment).
Follow these steps to install or replace the batteries:
1. Open the battery-cover on the back of the radio controlled clock.
2. Mount the batteries as indicated by the polarity symbols (+/-) marked inside
the battery-compartment.
. Replace the battery-cover.
Note: When you install or replace the batteries, all indicators in the display
will show for about seconds. A previously set alarm time must be set again.
The RF (Radio Frequency) signal
At first the radio controlled clock will show the time 0:00 and the date
1. January (1 - 1) and immediately begin to search for the time signal, the
RF signal. The display will start flashing and show SIGNAL or NO SIGNAL
depending on the clearness of the signal. The radio controlled clock will
continue searching for a signal until a clear signal is obtained. Then the time
and date will set automatically and the symbol SIGNAL will appear clearly
on the display. If no connection is obtained the clock will stop searching
after 10 minutes and NO SIGNAL will appear clearly. Then the time must
be set manually after which the clock will automatically try to establish the
connection to the RF signal at the times 0:00, 1:00, 2:00, :00, 6:00, 12:00 and
18:00. If no connection is obtained after 24 hours it may be caused by local
conditions or that the clock is too far from the effective range transmission in

the area. Please try re-positioning the radio controlled clock by turning it up
to 90° to see if a signal can be obtained or try to find another location in the
house (away from electronic products like televisions, computers etc.).
Manual setting of time
Below the battery-compartment on the back of the radio controlled clock
you will find the button MANUAL SET.
1. Push the MANUAL SET button for more than 2 seconds to set the time
manually. The display now shows MANUAL SET and the first segment to set
will start flashing.
2. Push the TIME
V
button until the correct time setting is obtained. Push and
hold the button for quick forward scrolling. Press MANUAL SET when the
correct time is obtained and set the next segment.
. When all indicators are set: Time - Minutes - Day- Month, press MANUAL
SET to confirm.
4. The display will show the symbol MANUAL and the Radio controlled clock
will automatically search for the signal as mentioned above.
Note: The MANUAL SET button is also used for activating or deactivating
the reception of the RF signal. Press the button for less than 2 seconds and
MANUAL will appear in the display. For reactivating the RF signal press
the button for less than 2 seconds and the display will show SIGNAL or NO
SIGNAL. This function is useful to re-establish the RF signal if the clock has
been out of reach to the RF signal or if you are travelling in another time
zone. To avoid an unexpected reception of the signal you must deactivate the
reception when travelling in another time zone.

Setting Alarm time
1. Push the Alarm button for more than 2 seconds. The display will start
flashing and show the symbol ALARM SET.
