Electrical connection 12 V
Electrical cables, switching and control devices for
heaters need to be arranged in the vehicle so that their
function is not impeded under normal operating conditions.
All cables that lead outside the vehicle must be splashwater
protected at the opening.
Depending on the model, a fuse (2 A) is installed in the sup-
plied power cable.
Connection cable with fuse (2 A)
Connect the device to the fused onboard power supply
(central electrics max. 10 A). Check correct polarity.
Connection cable without a fuse
Connect the device to the fused onboard power supply
(central electrics max. 2 A). Check correct polarity.
Lay the connector cable to the front.
The cable may not lie on the heat exchanger.
No further consumers may be attached to the connection cable!
When using power supply units, ensure that the output
voltage lies between 11 V and 15 V and that the AC volt-
age ripple < 1.2 Vss.
Connect the connector cable to the electronics at the rear of
the cover. Insert the connector until it clicks into place.
Attach cover flame effect
Suspend the cover (1) in the bottom bearing and pivot in (2)
until the lock audibly clicks into place. Check the tight fit by
pulling.
