The Illuminated 30-minute Freshness Indicator feature automatically lets you know how
long your coffee has been waiting for you. At the end of the brew cycle, the feature will
automatically be activated.
The indicator changes to show the time since brewing began in 5 minute intervals, up to
30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, the light will remain on for 10 minutes, before the coffee maker
automatically turns off.
To continue after 30 minutes, press Brew Now and the timer will reset after it attempts to
brew coffee.

Paper Filters vs. Reusable Filters
PAPER FILTERS: To achieve a smoother cup of coffee, use a paper filter. It will be most
effective in trapping bitter sediments.
REUSABLE FILTERS: For a more robust and full taste, use a reusable filter. It will allow
the coffee's full flavor to fill your cup. Reusable filters have tiny holes that allow rich
coffee oils to brew through.
